Colour Theory

In anything that involves a visual aesthetic, knowing your way around a colour wheel is key. You need to know your primary, secondary, and tertiary colours, as well as what tints and shades are. You need to know complementary colours.

For any digital design work, it’s a must to know about hex colour values, and RGB; just think “ROY G BIV”. It’s always there in the back of my mind. And then there’s the CYM (cyan, yellow, and magenta, which are the basics for any type of printed media).

BUT WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN??!

I’ll get back to you.

ps- I spelled “color” like a British person.
